About The Game
Alchymedes is a video slot with 5 reels, 4 rows and 60 paylines. 30 paylines are left-to-right and 30 are right-to-left.
The game has 8 regular symbols that win if three or more are lined up in sequence on a payline, beginning from the leftmost or the rightmost position. There is 1 wild symbol which substitute for all symbols. The 4 high pay symbols are represented by potions. The 4 low pay symbols are card suits.
Levels
The goal of the game is to complete levels by getting line wins on all symbol positions. All winning line positions are marked with a golden background and remain marked until the end of the level.
Spreading Wild Pattern
There are more than 15,000 different spreading wild patterns in the game. The pattern is drawn at the beginning of each level and remains the same until the level is complete.
Every wild symbol that lands on the reels spreads according to the pattern. The landing wild position is marked with a red dot on the pattern and the spreading wilds are marked in blue. Parts of the pattern landing outside of the game area do not award spreading wild symbols.
Level Completion Multiplier
Each level starts with a x1 multiplier. The multiplier can be randomly increased by 1 to 5 times during each spin.
The multiplier is only awarded to the win that completes the level (when the last position/positions are marked with gold).
The level completion multiplier is capped at x100.
The Alchemist’s Scale
After each level is completed, the Alchemist’s scale appears. You choose between adding more wild potion (green) or more multiplier potion (red) to the concoction.
- Adding the wild potion increases the wild pattern potential
- Adding the multiplier potion increases the multiplier potential
Random Feature Bonus
A random feature bonus can be triggered at the beginning of each level after the Alchemist’s scales mini-game.
One of six features can be randomly awarded:
- 100-2000 coins – paid out when the level is completed, not multiplied by the level completion multiplier
- x2 starting multiplier
- x3 starting multiplier
- 1 extra pattern position
- 2 extra pattern positions
- Rapid multiplier growth – level completion multiplier increasing on every spin!
How To Play
- Select your coin denomination.
- Each denomination has a separate game state. Game states for each denomination are kept indefinitely and can always be resumed
- Press the Spin button to start the game
How To Calculate Payline Wins
- To calculate your total payline coin win, calculate all payline wins and add them together.
- To calculate a single payline win, count the number of identical symbols lined up in sequence on the line starting from the far left.
- If three or more identical symbols are lined up, find the coin win value in the Pay Table. There you can find the value for 3 in a row, 4 in a row, and 5 in a row for all the symbols. Only the highest winning combination per line is paid out.
- 5 of a kind wins are paid out one way only.
- If the winning combination starts with three wilds, there can be many ways to interpret the win. In this scenario, only the highest win combination is paid out.
- Calculate the total win in your home currency by multiplying the total coin win with your coin value.

Game Panel
- Lines – Displays the number of lines in the game. The number of lines is fixed and cannot be changed.
- Coin Value – Change your bet size by changing your coin value. To transform any bet or win in coins to your home currency, multiply the coin amount by your coin value. Changing the coin value brings you to a different game state.
- Bet – The bet size is 1 coin per payline.
- Max Bet – Sets the coin value to the largest available. Press the Max Bet-button again to go back to the coin value you had before.
- Spin Button – Start the game. When the reels are spinning, the spin button transforms into the Stop Button. Press the Stop Button to stop the reels immediately.
- Win – Displays the win for the current or last win payout step.
- Balance – Displays your account balance. If cash view is chosen, this field displays your balance in your home currency. If coin view is chosen, this field displays your available coins based on the current coin value. Should you change the coin value, the balance field will update with your new amount of available coins.
- Cash/Coin view – You can choose to view the Bet size and Balance in either Cash or Coins. If you choose cash, the game will transform all values in coins to cash by multiplying the coin amount with your coin value. You can switch between Cash and Coin view in the settings panel or by pressing the Bet field or Balance field.
